8 Days Luxury Serengeti Migration: Arusha, Ngorongoro Crater,

Serengeti National Park

Day 1 Arrival Kilimanjaro Airport, Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport your private guide will be waiting for you. He will have a sign with your name on it. Your guide will bring you to your lodge for an overnight stay.

In the Serengeti you will overnight in tented camps near the area of where the migration is expected during that season. This might be Mara Under Canvas, Bologonya Under Canvas, Ndutu Under Canvas, Kubu Kubu Tented Camp, Migration Camp or Pioneer Camp.

You can combine your safari with various activities such as golfing, hiking, biking, scuba diving, balloon or helicopter flight or a nice beach holiday at the unspoiled Swahili Coast, one of the Zanzibar islands or an uninhabited island (not included).

During the game drives we provide coffee, tea and mineral water. Amref Tourist Evacuation is included.

Day 2 Arusha,

Before starting your safari, we recommend you take a day to rest and relax.

You can explore the coffee tour within the grounds of the lodge. Staying at Arusha Coffee Lodge will give you an authentic, homely experience and true sense of Tanzania.

Arusha Coffee Lodge also is the home of Shanga, a successful social enterprise which employs people with disabilities to create unique souvenirs by using recycled materials. You can enjoy the swimming pool or you go for a sightseeing. It is all up to you. Overnight Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater

Today you will descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro crater for an impressive game drive. The crater is also known as ‘Eight Wonder of the World’ and unique. One of the highlights is the rare black Rhino, and if you are lucky you will spot it here. After a maximum allowed stay of six hours in the crater you will drive to Lake Masek Tented Lodge, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lake overnight Masek Tented Lodge.

Day 4-5 Serengeti National Park

Immerse yourself in the splendors of your Safari Serengeti Migration. You have four full days game drives in the park.

Serengeti recently proclaimed to be a seventh world wonder. It is famed for its annual migration. Six million of antelopes join the wildebeest's trek for fresh grazing. Your guide will follow the migration and brings you there where the migration is best observed.

In the Serengeti you will overnight in tented camps near the area of where the migration is expected during that season. This will be for two nights in Mara Under Canvas, Bologonya Under Canvas, Ndutu Under Canvas or Kubu Kubu Tented Camp. Luxury tented camp located inside Serengeti NP

Day 6-7 Serengeti NP

Another two days in Serengeti to witness the migration spectacle. Also explore the incredible concentration of wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes and elephants. At the end of the day you return to your accommodation in Serengeti for an unforgettable sundowner. Two nights in Serengeti you will overnight in Migration Camp or Pioneer Camp.

Day 8 Kilimanjaro Airport

The last day to enjoy the beauties of the Serengeti.

In time for your domestic flight to Kilimanjaro Airport your guide drives you to a nearby airstrip in Serengeti NP, where you will say goodbye to your guide.

At Kilimanjaro Airport you can connect your international flight home.

You can combine your safari with various activities such as golfing, hiking, biking, scuba diving, balloon or helicopter flight or a nice beach holiday at the unspoiled Swahili Coast, one of the Zanzibar islands

Rates are per person and exclude the international flight from/to your home country.

This tour accepts children who are 12 years and up. Children under 16 receive a discount.

Rates include a fixed budget for flights during this tour. Flights may cost more, depending on travel dates. If so, your quote will reflect this.
